To assist the underwriting teams to develop and maintain a profitable book of business.
Ensure appropriate levels of support are provided by inter alia issuing quotations including renewal quotations, Certificates of Insurance, including Endorsements, in a timely and professional manner, and miscellaneous other administration duties.
Ensure service standards are met.
To ensure that all internal and external customers including anyone within the Group, claimants, service providers and third parties who may come into contact with CRS personnel are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner.
Assist with the issuing of reports as and when required.
Ensure all Conflicts of Interest are reported to Director of Underwriting once identified.
To ensure work is carried out within the Treating Customers Fairly/Contract Certainty Guidelines. Ensure that all formal quotations comply with Contract Certainty and that the Contract Certainty service level targets are at least achieved.
To ensure all work and conduct adheres to Company Policy and specific Underwriting procedures.
Attend team meetings as and when required.
To maintain compliance with any applicable UK or International statutory or regulatory obligation as required by the role. This includes but not limited to obligations arising from:
▪ The prudent management of the business.
▪ Placing due regard on the interests of customers.
▪ Observing rules on Sanctions and financial crime.
▪ Regulatory requirements and local licensing restrictions.
Ensure all underwriting submissions are entered on systems in a timely and accurate manner.
Deal with Brokers and Direct clients on the telephone, by mail, fax and email in a professional manner.
Liaise with the Accounts team for premium payment details and information on outstanding premiums.
